A statement from the PCB said that all the preparations to organize a series against the visitors are for a series of Twenty20 Internationals starting next month.

PCB director Usman Waheed said in the statement that England would be visiting Pakistan for the first time in 17 years and that big crowds are expected to watch the matches.
The England cricket team last toured Pakistan from October to December 2005, having refused to subsequently visit Pakistan citing security concerns.
“To ensure maximum fans can attend these matches and watch live some of the best shortest format cricketers from either side, we have decided to make the tickets affordable, ensuring families also turn up in big numbers to support cricket and both sides,” said the director.
The official expressed his delight over the visit, saying that both Pakistan and England are top-ranked T20 teams and the series would help Pakistan’s management finalize the preparations for this year’s men’s T20 World Cup in October in Australia.
